We are delighted to announce that this year Annual General Meeting will be held at The Jockey Club rooms in Newmarket on 3rd September. This year we have arranged for lunch to be served afterwards
The Jockey Club houses an incredible collection of sporting art and racing memorabilia. The collection is a culmination of over three hundred years of collecting. The result is an eclectic and truly unique collection of pictures and artefacts united by a shared passion for racing.
The Collection features significant works by many of the key figures in British sporting art, including George Stubbs, J F Herring Senior, John Ferneley, John Nost Sartorius, Emil Adam and Sir Alfred Munnings. Included are paintings of some of the turf’s greatest racehorses as well as portraits of the larger-than-life characters integral to the history of racing and the Jockey Club.
The AGM will take begin at 12.00 prompt. The cost to include a two-course lunch with wine is £45. Guests are welcome but are asked not to participate in the AGM itself.
